What is running

The local build stores audio on this machine. It has private uploader sessions, optional uploader passwords, named projects/albums, artist names, editable song titles, cover artwork, waveform playback, imports and optional analysis. Each upload/import batch requires an unchecked rights confirmation and acceptance of the current draft Terms.

The hosted service uses private Vercel Blob, Turso, separate password-protected listener pages, and Dub short links. The current player automatically reports qualified plays, listening time and playback actions to the uploader using temporary page sessions. It does not identify returning devices; GPC/DNT signals disable reporting.

Before hosting

Verify the operator’s exact legal identity, postal address and contact operation; settle retention, provider contracts, applicable privacy choices and complaint handling; implement and test the promised controls; and obtain jurisdiction-specific legal review. A checkbox cannot transfer every legal duty to an uploader.
